Richard Mille unveils a new limited edition of his automatic diver&rsquo-s watch, designed exclusively for North and South America.
The RM 028 Americas is a 30-piece edition featuring red and white details on a black DLC titanium case.
The RM 028 adheres to diver&rsquo-s watch ISO norm 6425 with water resistance of 300 meters (30 ATM) and a unidirectional bezel.
The round, 47mm case is more complex than it may first appear.
The nearly 1000-foot water resistance is achieved with a three-part case construction and 22 torque screws, with complete integration of the lugs into the case system.
This configuration prevents accidental movement of the bezel while diving.
The RM 028's skeletonized automatic caliber incorporates a rotor with variable geometry, a major Richard Mille innovation that adjusts the level of automatic winding to the user&rsquo-s lifestyle and movements via the setting of two 18K white gold wings.
The RM 028 Americas edition is distinguished by a black DLC titanium case and bezel, red and white numerals and hands, and a bright red inner bezel and rubber crown protector.
